Most women possess the above traits, but they feel like they need more. Female alpha-ness is not about power is about taking control of their destinies and fates through mastering the art of self-development, which is a gradual process cultivated daily by applying the traits mentioned earlier in the article.

It is not easy to deal with these norm-bending feelings so I frankly don't begrudge anyone their coping mechanism of choice.
