x̄ - > International Bereaved Mother's Day each day

 Dear Mama's Angel,

This is a letter from your mama.

'My Angel in heaven, mama loves you always and forever.

Always in my heart.'

love message to the sky

Motherhood is the hardest and most interesting responsibility in the entire world. Mothers experience life the hard way, the easy way but the most satisfying way. I am not a mother,, and I have never been, but my best friend was,, and the hurt in her eyes made me feel sad, angry, and even remorseful that I could not help.

Then she posted on her Whatsapp status about this important day,, 'Bereaved Mother's Day.' Many people do not know this day,, and do not celebrate it. This happens all around the world. It was founded in 2010 to celebrate all mothers in the world who feel left out. It happens a week before mother's day to celebrate mothers who are hurting due to the loss of their child. The circumstances leading to baby loss are so many, but it is still felt years later despite the intensity of such pain.

Losing, a child will be the darkest days of your life; you will ask God questions, you will want to understand why things happen, and you will overthink even the slightest thing. Eventually, you will realize that grieving is as important as the air we breathe, and you will wake up one day and feel the pain is not gone and the hollow and the sadness are still there. Hopefully, you will start living with it, slowly you will remember the moments, and then you will want to keep them forever; that makes you a mother.

To all mothers who have been through this road, This day is meant for you. To a young girl out there feeling lost because mama does not give her attention, hug her tight and let her know you understand. To a husband somewhere out there who is feeling neglected because your wife or partner is griefing, recognize their pain, listen to their heartaches, listen to the stories in their dreams, give them a gift to honor the day, mark the day by visiting someplace, and drink and cheers to that day.

Recognizing the day sometimes feels like putting salt on a fresh wound and might bring unnecessary emotions, but that's not the case. A child who has left earth is not far from his or her mama's heart and mind. It saddens a mother that her child will be forgotten, and their nightmare might come true; they may forget the few memories they had together.

#Stillamom #wantedchosenplanned makes grieving a child universal. Griefing is inevitable, just like change. We always lose people we love, and people might mourn differently, but that will happen no more to mothers out there who have lost a child, we recognize you, we love you to the moon and back, we appreciate you, we treasure you, we want you to smile, we want to hug you, and we understand you.
